3D-Printed Sand Moulds
Sand moulds and sand cores can be printed directly from a 3D CAD model/ drawing using a special 3D printer. In this process, a binder is printed on the moulding sand, which will then cure. Because the production of a traditional model is no longer necessary, a lot of time can be saved.
A great advantage of 3D printed sand shapes is that very complex geometries can be printed with high accuracy. In addition, dismantling does not have to be taken into account, and we can cast directly in these 3D printed sand moulds.
