Bronze casting

Are you looking for a specialist in bronze casting? With more than 50 years of experience, our foundry supplies high-quality castings for various applications. Bronze is a widely used material. Whether it is parts for shipbuilding, mechanical applications or an
artistic work, our team of experts is ready to bring your vision to life.

What is bronze?

Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin, in which copper is the main component. The tin content in the alloy usually ranges from 5 to 10%. Adding tin makes it less ductile, but also harder than copper. Bronze is characterised by its brownish-red colour and is known for its durability and corrosion resistance.

Applications of bronze

  • Shipbuilding
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Sculpture and works of art

Bronze is a versatile material and has been used for centuries to make utilitarian and artistic objects. The material is durable and resistant to corrosion, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Because of these corrosion-resistant properties, bronze is widely used for applications in (salt) water, such as in ship parts, water pipes and valves. But bronze is also used for statues, monuments and decorative works of art.

Bronze castings

There are many methods and processes for casting bronze. Our foundry specialises in sand casting. Instead of relying solely on wooden models, we use advanced technologies such as 3D scanning and 3D printed sand moulds alongside wooden and EPS models. This allows us to deliver complex castings quickly and accurately.

The casting process is tailored to customer demand and will therefore not be the same in every situation. We are also happy to think along with you for specific and complex parts. With our years of experience and expertise, we supply bronze castings that meet the requirements of various applications.
